Virgi Schiffino is Managing Partner at Lux Voyage and a Condé Nast Traveler Top Travel Specialist 2023. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Virgi was raised in a family of hoteliers and food lovers. Checking in and out of hotels is in her DNA. After a twelve-year “stint” as an international lawyer in New York and Washington DC, she realized her true passion lied with her roots in travel and hospitality.

Cristina Tamayo was born in Colombia and has lived in three continents. She has been a passionate world traveler all her life. Her go-to solution to anything that comes is: hop on a plane, and see where life takes you. After working in marketing and becoming a successful entrepreneur, she joined Lux Voyage’s team last year and discovered her true life’s calling. Her perfectionism comes in handy in her attention to detail, guaranteeing a seamless and flawless experience.
Passions beyond travel: Cristina adores animals. Before joining Lux Voyage she considered being a live-in volunteer at Reteti Elephant Orphanage in Kenya.

As a proud military spouse, she has had the opportunity to live in a variety of destinations, embracing the richness of diverse cultures and communities along the way. Her social-butterfly spirit shines through in her passion for exploring new places, forming meaningful connections, and creating experiences that blend authenticity with warmth.

Natalia studied hospitality and anthropology, a combination that shaped her passion for travel through the lens of cultural respect and curiosity. Having lived in seven countries and explored more than forty, she brings both global experience and a keen eye for detail to every journey she curates. Natalia thrives on creating meaningful connections between travelers and the places they visit, blending comfort, authenticity, and discovery in each itinerary.
Passions beyond travel: Natalia enjoys skiing, horseback riding, design, music, and time in the mountains or by the sea.

With a foundation in Business Administration and an early experience in structured fields like supply chain and banking, Lia brings thoughtful problem-solving and precision to every itinerary she creates. Her travel journey began during her Master’s studies in Europe, an eye-opening chapter that taught her to “buy the flight ticket” and to embrace the unknown.
She believes in immersive, respectful travel, with a special love for local cuisine, artisan work, and uncovering the hidden gems that make each place unforgettable. Her guiding motto: Take advantage of every second you spend in a new city.
